RAPPU - SASHAPASHA, in support of curator Anastasia Isakova, had invited ten Finnish artists to be involved in the project. Rappu is an interactive installation inviting visitors to enter a typical Russian apartment block. Elements of social communication occur on different levels: there is a communal apartment door with doorbells and surnames of residents, mailboxes with advertising leaflets and even a staircase with a smoking area. The exhibition viewer is allowed to be an active participant. Having selected the name of the artist and called its doorbell, behind the door you see a video projection representing visual information about the particular project: photos and video fragments. In the mailboxes, there are texts telling about the artist participants and giving information about the works.
