Nowadays the Western civilization in the context of globalization is able to absorb any local culture. Western- European understanding of Eastern traditions is based on the European ideology. The Eastern culture, integrates into the western and continues to exist in the new environment, taking new forms.

The Traditional Indian dance belts are not made of oriental coins, but of the Euro coins. The project illustrates an attempt of the local culture to survive under globalization, or, on the contrary, the desire of the Western world to recreate the exotic tradition available to means. Local cultures are becoming a commodity on the global market of cultural values. In this way there is a "monetization" of cultural heritage, illustrated by symbolic substitution, a trademark valid in the EU for traditional coins.
